Printing tips for the best scan
Maintain strong contrast (dark foreground on light background).
Keep quiet-zone margins: don’t crop too close around the code.
Use High or Max error correction for small prints or when adding a logo.
For posters, aim for at least 1 inch (25 mm) square for typical scan distances.
Prefer SVG for signage and packaging—its vectors stay razor-sharp at any size.
Troubleshooting scans
If a code isn’t scanning reliably, try: increasing size, using a darker color, raising error correction, or switching the module shape back to Square. Avoid busy backgrounds and keep the finder eyes unobstructed.
